Protecting the Coral Triangle and the Oceans that
Connect Us All

CTC’s Center for Marine Conservation is dedicated to the protection of the Coral Triangle’s marine biodiversity and the oceans that connect us all.

Stretching across six countries, the Coral Triangle is considered the world’s epicenter of marine biodiversity. It is home to 76% of all known coral species, 37% of reef fish species, and is an important spawning area for tuna, charismatic and endangered animals such as whales, sea turtles, manta rays, sunfish, and many others.

The Coral Triangle stretches across six countries including the Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste. Its unparalleled marine and coastal resources provide profound benefits to more than 120 million people and to millions more beyond its borders.

Inspiring People, Saving Oceans

The first of its kind in Indonesia, CTC’s Center for Marine Conservation is a uniqueΒ facility dedicated to ocean protection, providing an integrated learning space forΒ marine professionals and managers, school children, youth groups, families, touristsΒ and entrepreneurs to learn about and be inspired to protect our oceans.

Games for Change

Facilitating learning through immersive games is one of the ways we inspire people to care for our marine environment.

Escape Room SOS from the Deep is Indonesia’s first-ever marine conservation themed escape room. A fun and exhilarating way to save coral reefs and support marine conservation on the ground.

Aquatico is an adaptation of Ridges to Reefs concept where players learn the value of the inter-connectivity of ecosystems and understand that in order to save one, they have to save all.
